because our flight was at 11.05pm and since it's a 12-hr plus flight, it was already the next morning, but we were still on the plane.

so breakfast was served.

meimei's omelette with potato wedges.

and my scrambled egg with sausage.

lighting was bad.

hence, the dark pics.

kept ourselves entertained on the plane for abt an hr or so and we've reached Heathrow Airport.

still had to take something like a skytrain to our destination.

while waiting for the gate to be opened.

sneakers, coz we heard there'll be lots of walking.

well well, we only took a few pics while waiting and the gate opened soon after.

but even before we left our seats, the monitor shows that the flight's closing alr!

we hurriedly got up our seats and went to q, to board the plane.

transiting from Heathrow to Copenhagen, it's only abt 2-3 hrs flight, so we were served croissant.

and orange juice.

wasnt hungry yet, but still finished everything nevertheless. lol.

arrived at Copenhagen soon after.

the airport apparently, is also the train station.

so there we were, at the airport/train station with our ginormous luggages.

after arriving at the airport, at the same place, we had to take the train to Aarhus.

lugging a 20+kg luggage is really no joke.
heavy la!

plus, the luggages will slide down on the travelator, so we had to use our bodyweight, stand in-front of our luggages to prevent it from sliding.

hard work.

we were'nt sure how there train system goes.

so in any case, just take a pic first. lol.

oh goodness, they're really punctual in this aspect.

they leave, on the dot.

and because our luggages were too huge and they block the walkway, so we were told to place our luggages elsewhere.

since i was facing in a direction where i could keep an eye on our luggages, I stuck my head out whenever the train stops at a certain station.

but about 2 stops later, we were chased out of our seats coz apparently, the seats that we took are reserved by someone else!

thus, we went to stand by our luggages for the rest of the journey.

trying to enjoy the view outside and forget the torture of us needing to stand throughout.

but got even more irritated when these bee-like flies kept hovering around us.

feeling hungry midway and luckily for meimei's friend who got her a packet of loacker.

it came in handy!

i needa whine again.

lugging the 20+ kg luggages off the train is another troublesome and difficult thing to do.

it's really HEAVY!

from the train station, we still had to take a bus to the university to get the keys for her apartment.

before anything, snapped a pic of the bus timetable just in case we need it anytime.

these are the multi-rides bus tickets, but apparently, it's only for usage at Copenhagen!

sighness, and we actually used it here for the normal buses in Aarhus w/o realising :/

so thankful for the lady at the bus interchange who told us that.

finally got on the bus aft waiting for close to half an hr.

people here enters the bus by the back, so there we were on the bus, with our heavy 20+ kg luggages.

it was a tough ride, feeling all tired and restless :(

coz of kind souls on the bus, we found our bus stop, but sighness, couldnt find the university that we were looking for.

their buildings all look so similar.

it's difficult to tell whether it's a university.

because we did'nt switch on our mobile network, we couldnt use google map.

only depend on the map that the school sent to mei, to ask ppl for directions.

the locals are friendly and helpful.

sidetrack alittle, but they're big and tall.

look at meimei beside her, she's so small. haha.

followed the directions given and we got lost again.

stranded there with our huge luggages.

resorted to asking a passer-by.

he was really nice.

helped us with one of our luggages too.

and directed us to the International Centre that we were looking for.

even used his google map to help us search for directions.

so so helpful!

and with his help and approx 15mins of walking and lugging the huge luggages, we finally found the International Centre!

super difficult to find please.

got her keys and damn, they told us that our apartment was elsewhere and we actually had to take a bus there.

super sian coz we were both so tired from the long flight and searching and walking and thought we could rest immediately after getting to the International Centre.

apparently, it's only a place where mei had to check-in and collect her keys.

we had to travel, AGAIN, to the apartment. sighness.

so there we were again, waiting for bus to the apartment.

after 20 mins or so, we managed to find the aprtment!

super difficult to find please!

arrived later than expected timing coz we couldnt find our way.

denmark is too huge.

alittle pissed, but everything was alright aft we finally found the room and i get to sit.

our feet, too sore.
