waking up to a misty morning in Denmark.
woke up too early and the other 2 girls were still asleep.
I need my morning breakfast, so I made cereal and had some biscuits for myself first, while waiting for them to be awake!
when both of them were awake, we changed out and walked to the supermarket.
this are the numbers in the lift.
they dont have a level 1.
their ground level is lvl 0.
right outside the entrance of our apartment.
they have a tapping system for security purposes.
the mega-difficult-to-find housing.
we needed some groceries coz the fridge is empty and we though it's a good idea to stock-up!

anw, meimei hasnt start school yet, so we took the chance to explore parts of Aarhus for the whole day!

soon after, we've arrived at our destination.
on the street of Stroget.
people there are really tall and big.
so are their dogs!

then we chanced upon a big 'canal'.
somewhat like clark quay.
bars and pubs + the sg river.
walked on and we saw this block of thingy.
no idea what was it.
it was just in the middle of nowhere, but it reminds me of the bottle of vitamins I took when I was young!
we were hungry as soon as we arrived.
so we went around looking for lunch, and meimei bumped into 'Linda'. haha.
the smell was too good, so we decided to try their wrap here.
one of the main probs about finding food here is we have no idea how to read those words on the menu!
not in english.
we just had to either ask the other local customers around or just guess.

i really like the boots, but it's not comfortable.

the sun was really huge today.
so hot that mei and i actually perspired.
street performers spotted again :D
walked on alittle further and we spotted another H&M!
so hot that meimei and i went to remove our tights at H&M. haha.
in need of accessories!
spotted a pretty chocolate shop.
Denmark doesnt really have Starbucks.
we found one, but it's closed for a private event.
and we thought we could go grab a coffee or somehitng and chill.
sigh... unfair!
walked on and spotted Nespresso.
also has some event going on!

well well, aft which, we gave up wanting to grab a coffee and chill.
just walked on the streets and enjoy the breeze.
the sky is just too pretty!
they call this, 'clear blue sky'.
more street performance going on which caught meimei's attention.
though they're old, but they play really good music.

walked into a shop named 'Tiger'.
the locals here pronounce it as 'tee-ger' not 'ti-ger'.
spotted 2 different kind of scissors they sell.
one normal one, and the other, a multi-cutter kind!
like wow, that's interesting.
good for cutting strips of papers!
walked out and saw boots on sale!
immediately put my foot in! haha!

if only sg has 4 seasons!

we needed to go to the bus interchange to settle the issues regarding the bus tickets.
we saw the signs on the way and just tried our luck.

after walking all over, we finally found the bus interchange!
had to do a bus-pass so that we can travel for unlimited times on buses in zones 1 and 2, just like buying a concession card in sg.
but they needed a passport photo and i did'nt bring any!
bobian, so meimei took a pic of my face and we just went to print it at some shop.
ahhh, why must it be on a day that i did'nt put on makeup!? :/
ah well, i didn't have a choice.

after settling all that, we bused back home to make our dinner.
a fish-eye view of the sun that only sets at around 9pm here.
it's Carbonara Pasta for dinner tonight!
