Taiwan Day 3.

good morning from Taipei! (:

woke up for breakfast buffet again, at the hotel lobby.

my green tea latte.

uncle roy, in the morning.

popo doesnt like to waste food!

trying her best to help clear the food taken.

little cheeky boy clinging onto me early in the morning. hehe :D

then set off at around 11plus am.

headed straight to Wu Fen Pu for shopping!

the highways of taipei.
the land, the road, the sea.

huge pears tt the tour guide got us.
one huge box!

and another huge box, the oranges.

spotted Taipei101 on the road :D

the empty Wu Fen Pu at noon.

we were too early.
it was too empty!
most are not opened!

Lai En?
Ryan.

the busier street after lunch!

ooo, spot that sign on top!?

'hua zhuang shi' = toilet!

while the ladies shop, daddy had to entertain the kids. lol.

the array of motorbikes/scooters.
abundance in Taiwan.

ah yes, but i dislike it when they're impolite to us! tsk.

only managed to buy a few items. most of the clothes we see were winter wear, more suited for the locals, but not us! it's just too hot to wear them in sg!

spent like about 4 hours plus shopping.

some of us skipped lunch coz we wanted to cont shopping!
dont wanna waste any time! heh.

yea, we were the 'some of us'. haha.

we always wondered what is 'shou gong fen yuan'.

so 4yi ordered one to try.
it's just bubble tea! Lol.
they have bubble tea everywhere!

after shopping at Wu Fen Pu, the coach came to pick us up and drove us to some restaurant to have our dinner.

the roads are too squishy tt our coach bus could not turn in, so we waited opp a petrol kiosk for the taiwanese hosts to drive us in with their cars.

it's dinner time with the taiwanese hosts again!
large group, so we occupied 3 tables!

ahha as usual, they were overly warm and hospitable!
the one in red is one of the hosts.
the other is the one in black with his back facing us, standing behind daddy.

gonggong and popo, who were asked to sit with the hosts :D

it's a cold weather.
so they brought us to eat this!

nope, not steamboat.
it's 'jiang mu ya'.

something tt the taiwanese eat during cold weather.
it's like steamboat with alot alot of different herbs and one whole full duck inside!
it's literally the whole duck!
the head, the body, the legs!

the pot was alr this full when it was served!

tau ki and some other sides were served on later, one by one.

it was really too much!
so much tt no matter how much we have eaten, the food in the pot still seem the same!

oh yes, i was on the same table as our tour guide and bus driver, tgt with some kids.
Raphael snapped a close-up pic of her.

she's quite pretty, just tt somehow, this pic is quite unglam.
ahh, but this is the only close up pic i have of her to share with yall! :D

hahaha, we were so full yet again.
the portion of food were at least double or more of what we all can consume!

and as expected, it was liu ding served again at the end of our meal!

went to their shops to take a look before they sent us back to our hotel.

the mini honey-apples they gave.
but i dont particular think there's honey inside leh.
tasted just like normal apples, but just smaller in size. ahha.

picked meimei up from the airport with parents at midnight.

yes, she came to join us later coz she had and exam tt she had to take, so bobian.
heh, i wont want to travel on my own!
so lonely and scary! :|
she's power~

ok, time to sleep.

goodnight! :D
