good morning from BKK!
it's our 3rd day here!
again, went to the morning market.
this is how squeezy/narrow one lane is.
oh, and we've slowly gotten used to how people cross the roads coz even though it's a zebra-crossing, the cars just wont stop!
very lucky to have spotted this guy selling one of our fav street food!
no idea what is it called, but it's like some bengawan solo kueh.
we likeeeeeeeeee!
aft shopping, we hurried back to our hotel for breakfast.
today, we decided to have breakfast at the premium lounge.
my breakfast, the most impt meal of the day.
the plan today is to explore Chinatown!
we had some time aft breakfast, so went to shop at Platinum Mall while those who wanna rest took their rest in the hotel rooms.
went to the lounge for some drinks after shopping before heading out.
my ginger ale.
plus my strawberry yanyan which i brought with me all the way from SG. lol.
aft which, we cabbed to Chinatown.
walked along the street and we spotted this lady bbq-ing bananas!?
so we bought some to share and try!
yes, those are bananas!

while walking, we spotted people feeding a kitten!
and this is how they feed a kitten!
with a milk bottle!
so cute right!
though it's a kitten, i still refuse to get too near it!
so i used the zoom function to capture this moment. lol.
walked on further and spotted 'you tiao'!
freshly fried!
so bought some to share while searching for a nice place for lunch.
hot weather with so so many cars passing by.
air was just bad.
kids get thirsty too easily!
so we settled for some pomegranate juice.
honestly, it's overpriced at Chinatown as compared to the area near our hotel.
perhaps Chinatown is a tourist attraction so sellers jack-up the price?!
well, Chinatown was quite a disappointment.
nothing much to see.
nothing much interest us.
the whole time that we've been walking, there were just little stalls at the side like these:
of which, the things they sell looked so old!
totally just looked like 2nd hand goods or even older!
well well, perhaps just more pushcart stalls selling food.
passed by this pushcart selling some fruit.
no idea what were those.
but just bought one small packet to try.
decided to settle for lunch at that restaurant behind us.
now, for a sumptuous lunch.

it was raining when we were having our lunch.
waited for the rain to stop, then walked out and flagged cabs back to our hotel coz meimei was not feeling well!
back to hotel, headed straight to the lounge for tea.
a glass of white wine, plus some snacks (:
and of course, ending the post with what we had for supper!
