Noodles Day!

happy noodles day! :'>

brought boyfriend to visit taitai.

something i've always been wanting to do.

finally, managed to do it today :'>

not forgetting a pic with me primary school that i kinda miss being in. heh.

everything went quite smoothly, except for the really hot weather!

so humid, so hot, so sticky!

couldnt take it, so we decided to cab to bugis for our lunch.

since it's 'noodles day', we decided to dine at Noodle Around.

barley drink which is in quite a quite 'mug/cup'.

Crispy Tofu.

not very wow.

alittle overpriced i feel.

Good Old Days Big Prawn Noodles (Soup).

Durian Cheesecake.

not very wow too.

just like eating durian ice cream.

all in all, food and service were not bad, but the ambiance was quite bad.

not about the layout and all, but the aircon!

weather is already so damn hot in sg, and we expect to walk into a restaurant, feeling the cool aircon, but it was stuffy instead.

plus, we had our soup noodles, which made us perspire even more!

grr, spoil our whole dining experience.

caught Fast & Furious 6 at Bugis+, Filmgarde Cineplex.

cinema was not bad.

seat was comfortable, aircon was cool enough; alittle loud, but overall, it was quite enjoyable :']

walked around bugis for awhile, then it's dinner time!

boyfriend recommended ramen at Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King Four Seasons.

we were given a really small table .-.

it was even more packed when our ramen were served (N)

the four seasons refer to the different flavours of ramen available.

i chose Autumn (pork mince with bonito flavour and fried mushrooms).

boyfriend chose the King (stir-fried pork with ginger on top).

and they come with free-flow boiled eggs and beansprouts!

so there the boyfriend is, peeling off the egg shells for me.

after dinner, headed to MBS to spot familiar faces!

but sigh, many people werent there anymore.

walked by SweetSpot and decided to try their coffee.

hmm... would be better if there werent bits of bitter coffee powder as we suck it through the straw.

well well, no familiar faces, so we went outside for a walk.

just look at how pretty mbs is!

perhaps one of the only moments that make us feel like we were in a foreign country. aha.

ended the day with a romantic night at mbs.
