it's mid-week and we decided to visit Bazar Vest coz we needa stock up on fruits and hope to get cheap and fresh ones there.
took a bus and within mins, we've reached!
this is the entrance.
lots of middle easten people.
'these are lambs, not pigs'; feeling a cringe in my heart after hearing that :(
and that's Ingrid telling us that fact :[
spotted a wide variety of fruits and vegetables!
it was really an eye-opener.
fresh fruits!
bananas, i need.
grapes, we need.
look at their apples.
see the diff in size.
watermelons in a crate!
their watermelons are huge!
very tempted to try...
an array of vegetables!
and funny looking ones which we have no idea what are they.
looked like mini turnips though.
the colours of the fruits and vegetables all look so pretty!
ok, we browsed, and will be back to get some after lunch.
gonna explore the area first.
spotted Istanbul Bakery.
they smelled good and their breads look fresh!
and this particular one on shelf caught our attention coz it was so big!
hence, we bought it to share for breakfast!
scouting for a place for lunch aft that coz there's nothing much to shop for.
the whole place generally has the little-india feel. heh.
so, not really knew to us.
just felt familiar.
settled for lunch at a random shop coz we couldnt decide which looks attractive.
they're on par.
the kebabs of meat on display.
lunch preparation in process!
waiting for our lunch to be served :D
tadah, wrap (again...)!
well, meimei and i actually ordered sandwich, but i think he didnt get what we ordered, so gave us the same thing as what Ingrid ordered .-.
so yup, all of us ended up with a wrap.
meimei and i shared one :'>
aft lunch, it's back to the fruits and vegetables stall.
choosing the grapes.
yes, we have to grab a plastic bag and store how much we want on our own coz it goes by weight!
on the walk back to the bus stop, we spotted these that looked like cotton.
and these, dont know what are they but they look like hairy-mini-maize.
and not missing out on pretty flowers all around :D
otw back to the bus stop.
it was quite a distance back.
and... we spotted the world's smallest tomatoes!
really?!
come in red...
back at home, again the comparison of the big bread and my face!
ok, these are fruits for the week.
hopefully, we wont finish them too soon!
still had some leftover rice from ytd.
so meimei fried some rice for dinner.
while i fry some dang hoon.
erm... not enough ingredients.
so it's just like that.
doesnt look too appetizing on pics, but it's still edible hor!
yup, so that was dinner.
