started our morning with breakfast like this :D :D
plan today is to first head to the Car Boot Sale in Ingerslevs Boulevard.
as usual, waiting for our Bus 14!
yea, our bus stop only has bus 14. haha.
it's a windy wednesday!
finally, on the bus :D
it's Denmark's biggest food and vegetable market!
freshly baked breads from the oven!
it's a road that i guess, closed for the market!
they sell fresh vegetables!
weird-looking vegetables included!
there's this guy who sells sweets made from honey.
gave us each one piece to try.
sadly, it doesnt taste as good as we thought.
there was like some mint taste to it in the midst of sucking.
we dont like that.
secretly went to the nearest rubbish bin and spat it out.
moving on, there's this caravan-like vehicle that sells cheese!
really all sorts of cheese!
including blue cheese, the smelly cheese that was really a major turn-off. lol.
walking down the street, there was another stall selling breads again.
different kind of breads, but still breads. haha.
they dont only sell food.
they sell flowers too :D

on our way, spotted this adorable little boy.
he's even more adorable coz he's not afraid of strangers!
so cutesy!
he must be thinking, 'so this is how an asian looks like!'

well, that was almost the main things that they sell there.
it's not really that fascinating though.
quite a disappointment.
we expected more.
anw, we walked out and spotted a school.
too amazing, coz they actually have a play-sand area for the kids and it's really huge!
kids here are quite lucky!
nothing much to do around that area alr, so we took a bus and head towards Marselisborg Deer Park.
the first time mei and i encounter checks by the bus conductors!
it's interesting coz they have more than just one conductor to do the check.
there'll be at least 2 of them and they will seal the entrances/exits.
so even if you wanna alight when you spot them at the bus stop, they will conduct a check on you first before allowing you to alight!
ok, so minutes later, we've reached the bus stop that we were suppose to alight as per stated on directions given by google-map.
we saw a big tree with red thingy.
they're look like raspberry, but no idea if it's ok for human consumption.
anw, we were kinda lost after alighting from the bus coz the whole place looked too ulu.
asked a passer-by(we hardly even manage to see one).
this is her dog.
she's super nice coz it's like just trees and bushes everywhere, as if entering a forest/woods.
but she led the way and walked us at least half-way there!
after which, we were on our own :/

lucky it was still in the day and here in Denmark, the sun doesnt set so early.
otherwise, we'd be damn scared while finding our way through the woods!
we could barely spot anyone.
they should have signboards to show the direction la!
anw, after walking for like 15mins or so, we managed to see a gate!
we walked closer and aww~ we found the Deer Park!

from a distance, we saw a group of people.
so we walked towards that direction, and true enough, there was a herd of deer!
they were just lazing around, till they see someone with food and they will all go towards the human.
but they are damn realistic.
only come to you when you have food, shoo away when you dont.

it's amazing how they manage to swallow one whole carrot without chewing, coz i dont see their teeth!
it's like they were choking themselves!
and deer are generally afraid of humans.
they'll walk away when you try to get near them.
hence, the gap between them and us in our pictures taken.
but when it has food, it doesnt really care.
dropped its carrot.
Deer: 'can you pick it up for me?'
Mei: 'umm... no? coz it's covered with your saliva!'
Deer: 'ok then, bye.' *walks away*

anw, of the herd, we spotted a different one.
there was a white one amongst them and it has horns, like a goat!

Deer: 'oh hi asian, do you have food for me?'
Me: 'no i dont!'
Deer: 'i smelled it! where is it! feed me!'
Me: 'I SAID NO! DONT HAVE!'
Deer: 'fine, bye then.'
that's how realistic they are! Lol.

when we were about to leave, we saw an old lady with her grandson.
her grandson is so cute!
Deer: 'hi kid, why are you so small? you're one of the few humans who are shorter than me.'
Little Boy: 'SAY WHAT!?' *picks up a stone, attempting to attack the deer*
Deer: 'oh sorry! i did'nt mean it! i'm hungry. do you have food for me?'
Little Boy: 'you want some food?'
Little Boy: 'here you go!'

Deer: 'can i have more?'
lol, the greedy deer!
the little boy is so cute coz he calls them donkeys! hahaha!

meimei needed the toilet.
out of nowhere, there pops out a toilet. lol.
like just a toilet out of nowhere, in the woods!
can you imagine!?
we wanted to take the bus coz we didn't wanna walk 15mins out of the woods to catch a bus.
but sadly, there wasnt any bus service on that day!
coincidentally, we bumped into a Dane and her friend, who is from India.
they told us that there was no bus service.
since they were heading to the city as well, mei and i just followed them.
sian... bobian, had to walk to the bus stop outside to catch a bus home.
on our walk out, we spotted a beach!
it's really nice, but i think it's kinda cold, so the beach doesnt look inviting.
after walking out of the woods, we walked past some residential houses.
all of them are landed properties!
they even have a garden of their own where they can plant pretty flowers.
and fruits!
lol, the lady from India wanted to try what was it, so she just plucked it off the plant.
we can actually do that!? :O
really glad to bump into them.
had a short chat with one another before splitting ways!

and both of them are lecturers, we heard!
till we meet again! :D
it was late.
wanted to get home first to take the stuff that we bought, to meimei's friends' place for dinner.
however, bus timings weren't favourable.
hence, we just went to the nearest supermarket and bought a box of frozen pizzas, then made our way there.
this is the apartment that her friends were staying at.
it's really someone's house that they rented!
hence, the nice deco and furnitures provided!
something that i wanna do in my future house.
they even have comfy couch!
ours, dont :(
so comfy, i can just fall asleep on the couch!
the friends that we bumped into at the Flea Market!
so glad to bump into them!
it's their last night in Aarhus.
so, they prepared dinner and invited us over!
fried rice + pizza!
enjoying our chats over dinner!
they even have a teevee which allow us to watch movies!
so after dinner, it's movie time + beer!
they even went to the extent of buying beer!
so much effort and sweetness from the 3 girls!
and after our movie, they said it was time for dessert!
so, a pic with the desserts they prepared, on the table!
they bought ice-cream!
omg, the whole feeling was just so warm!
mei and i felt so at-home!
seeing and listening to their stories when they were at Denmark, it was just so entertaining.
looking back at our situation, it's alittle different.
really a difference between asians and ang mohs.
oh well, on a random note, from this post, i learned that the plural of 'deer' is still 'deer'. lol.
